One of the newest additions to the Soul Survivors crew, B.J. is the first individual to fully apprentice under Eric Johanson.
Affectionately known as C.H.U.D. the Gentle Plains Manatee, this 23 year old hails from the mean streets of Transcona. After obtaining a law enforcement degree in 2003, and much to his mother’s dismay, he decided a career as a police officer just wouldn’t cut it. When offered the opportunity to learn the piercing trade from one of the best, he pounced on it….. like any good Transcona boy would pounce!
His unwavering interest in body modification, and his soothing manatee calls, already has him winning over the hearts of many Winnipeggers. Expanding on his chosen profession, he has been creating custom organic and steel jewelry, and invites the challenge to create one of a kind pieces.
